Remember all, no class Monday, Feb. 20. Some of us will be presenting at ASTE!!! Wish us luck!.
Alrighty guys. As I have said many times, this is not my area of expertise (yet!). I say that so that you know a couple things. First of all, we should all, including me, be ready for trying new things. Also, coding is hard. It takes time, patience, and problem solving.
We are starting slow, and moving through it.
- We took at look at Google Drive as a place we can take notes
- We started research into different areas of where coding is used professionally
- We got logged in to the MSB District's coding resources through Clever (I can help with this if you forgot or were not here)
- None really, but it would be great if you guys did some of your research and practiced at home with Code Monkey. When we are done with that, we will move in to Code.org.
We have been spending the last week looking at what areas students may wish to submit to the Alaska Society for Technology in Education contest, known as the IdidaContest. Students from the around the state participate and there are several categories students can submit to.
Make sure you are working to submit to at least one category, and hopefully even more!!
Remember: No Class Wednesday - Class moved to Monday 12/5
See you guys with your 20 Years in the Future Report
